La Bodega: A Business That Ages as well as Wine

Blog

A small piece of Riverside’s history, La Bodega first opened its’ doors in 1964. In 1983, Mike Dahdul purchased the establishment and developed it into one of the regions’ best kept secrets. La Bodega specializes in the sale of fine wines, spirits and craft beer. With over 700 craft beers in inventory and a wide variety of fine wine and spirits, La Bodega has one of the largest selections in the Inland Empire. Among their extensive craft beer list, at least five are from local Riverside breweries.

A true family business, Dahdul operates La Bodega with his wife, son and two brothers. In order to best meet customer needs, Dahdul and his staff hand selects and samples every product before making it available for sale. With immense product knowledge, they are able to make insightful recommendations and help customers through the decision-making process. Some of Dahdul’s most gratifying achievements are the interactions and relationships he has built with so many customers and families over the years. Serving multiple generations of families, customers gladly trust Dahdul’s advice and recommendations to ensure satisfaction.

“I can’t say enough about Riverside; it is a great place to live and work. It’s a big city with a small town feel to it. It is a very safe and progressive city,” says Owner, Mike Dahdul.

La Bodega proudly remains active in the community and participates in numerous charities and community events, such as the Riverside Community Health Foundation, Parkview Foundation, Riverside Art Museum and the Museum of Photography.  La Bodega brings value to their customers not just in price, but in service, selection and product knowledge.
